Obchod na korze, known in English as The Shop on Main Street, is a movie from the region formerly known as Czechoslovakia, and it is one of the most powerful and artistically successful movies ever made about the Holocaust.

The story focuses on the relationship between an "Aryan" man and the confused Jewish woman whose shop he is made supervisor of by the state. Initially the mood is light and warm as we learn about the characters, but things gradually take a sinister turn when the man discovers the realities of what could happen to her.
