Plain White Ts is a pop-punk/pop rock band from Villa Park, Illinois, that has released four full-length albums: Come on Over [2001], Stop [2002], All That We Needed [2005] and Every Second Counts [2006]. Currently on their controversial summer tour, they are best known for their hit Hey There Delilah, which hit No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 the week of July 28th 2007, and is due to be released in the UK as a single in September 2007.

Every Second Counts is the fourth studio album released by the Plain White Ts. It is the first Plain White Ts album to be released on Hollywood Records along with Fearless Records. As of July 29th 2007, the album has sold 338,862 in the US. The albums highest peak on Billboard 200 was July 29th 2007, at No.10. The album has recently been certified gold. Although Hey There Delilah is from the Plain White Ts third album, All That We Needed, since the singles popularity new versions of the intervening fourth album, Every Second Counts, have Hey There Delilah added as a bonus track with a string section augmenting the original recording.
