Vanessa Chantal Paradis [born December 22nd 1972 in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Val-de-Marne, France] is a French pop singer and actress. Vanessa Paradis was discovered on the TV show Lecole des fans in 1980. She recorded her first single La magie des surprises-parties in 1985. Although it was not a hit, it paved the way for the song with which she would become internationally famous Joe le Taxi in 1987, while she was still only 14 years old. It was No.1 in France for 14 weeks and, unusually for a song sung in French, was released in the UK the following year, where it reached No.3. It was taken from her first album M&J.

Divinidylle is the 2007 album by French singer Vanessa Paradis. It was recorded between November 2005 through June 2007. This is the fifth studio album by Paradis, the last being her 2000 release Bliss. The first single, called Divine Idylle, was released to French radio in June 2007.
